Heated Glass Door:
The electrically heated glass doors are coated with a transparent conductive film that heats to prevent water droplets on the outer surface. The heating function activates with the compressor and can be adjusted with three modes: STRONG / OFF / WEAK, ideal for varying humidity levels.
Note: The glass surface temperature ranges from 80-93°F (27-34°C). Keep away from rain and harsh weather conditions.

Is this a "frost free" unit or can you fill me in on that aspect of its operation? We had a Uline that while it did have a freezer compartment, would ice up often. Want to make sure we avoid such issues with this purchase. Thank you!

The Italian brand CAREL control system installed in this unit has auto defrost program. If you find ice up inside the cabinet, that's unnormal for a beverage refrigerator.

When should you purchase the heated door option? My application is a South Florida condo. Under counter in a great room.
Condensation can produce water droplets on the glass door of a refrigerator. When warm air hits the cold surface, it reaches its dew point and condenses. This leaves droplets of water on the glass of the door. The higher is the ambient air humidity, the condensation on a glass door happens more frequently. A heating door is helpful to reduce or avoid the condensation.

This fridge comes with heating glass, the door is not reversible. If you want a fridge with door hinge at the left, you could consider our KBU50BX LHH

if my dimensions are 24" W x 24" D x 34.5" H will this unit fit my in that space? The unit dimensions are stated as 23.5"W x 31.57" H x 21.54" D. As you can see I am concerned with the width.
