Great wine rack. Relatively easy to assemble after mucking around with the first one. Rack looks beautiful especially after filled with wine.

Thanks so much, John! Glad to hear the setup got easier and that you’re loving how the rack looks filled up. The photos look fantastic, and we have to say, your dog definitely stole the spotlight Enjoy your collection!

Compact and yet stable!

I got a temp/humidity controlled wine storage unit with fixed space so I wanted a solution that is compact and inexpensive. I am super happy to find the solution from Kings Bottle as the rack is easy to assemble and they have been holding really well with my heavy bottles. I'm lucky that the 6x6 configuration works just fine but I do believe they have the solution to customize it also.

Perfect Fit

The 42 bottle rack in black was a perfect fit for our bar. It looks so much neater and organised than having bottles sitting on top.

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad to hear that the 42 bottle rack was a perfect fit for your bar and helped to organize your wine collection. Well done on creating such a nice installation with the back light. Happy wine collecting!

Timber wine rack - good quality

Bought the Timber wine rack to fit in an alcove in my basement under the fireplace. The fit was perfect, and I have loaded it up with reds and whites that need to be cool but not necessarily kept in a wine fridge for long-term aging. I ordered mine unassembled, and I was careful when I did assemble it. This wine rack is best assembled on a hard surface like a basement floor. They provide an extra piece of wood (square dowel rod), which was beneficial, as one of the other ones in the kit was not cross cut at one end (necessary for assembly) -the extra piece made it a non-issue. The trickiest part is assembling the second set of metal strips (dowels already attached to metal strips at the bottom, and now the second set needs attaching). I appreciate that they sent two extra metal strips in case I made a mistake and bent one out of shape. Didn’t need it, because I went nice and slow, and I gently used the mallet to tap them in place, going over the structure in cycles to slowly tap them in place. Once assembled, the wine rack was slightly askew, but once I situated it and loaded it with wine, the weight of the bottles caused everything straightened out. The rack comes with plastic protectors that one can clip onto the metal strips, but I didn’t use these, as I have many Pinots, GSMs and Chardonnays that just exactly fit (but would cause the plastic pieces to pop off above). Don’t think I need them, but I have kept them for potential future use. All told, it took me a couple hours to assemble, and that is just fine by me. In the end I now have a nice, sturdy wine rack that I feel has little risk of ever tipping over. I bought it for the generous spacing and appreciate that it holds my wide-bottom bottles so well. I definitely recommend this wine rack, and I expect it to last for years without fail.

These Reviews are fake!

This is a piece of junk. Comes in a thousand pieces. Took all day to assemble because a rubber mallet does not work, need to use a real hammer to get the pieces together and this damages the wood. Then the company says if its damaged its not returnable. Once assembled hours later realized all the cross bars for one side are missing. No way could I take this thing apart to return. It looks good but it’s not stable. Will have to call company for missing pieces. I am a metalworker so to explain this item is easy to build just takes a really really long time and its hard on your hands in terms of repetitive hard hammering. Do not order if have arthritis like me! Cost should be $100 not close to $300! See second photo. In the back, you can see that there are only 2 vertical cross bars , 7 are missing and not in box. In photos, each line of bottles has separator bar front and back, but not enough bars were sent to complete it.

Versatile Wine Rack - Looks Amazing

Needed a specific size to fit into a stand-in pantry under the stairs, and it didn’t disappoint. Very happy with how much storage we got from it and how it adds visually to the space. Chose to build them ourselves. Arrived quickly and after sales service to change wall pinning accessory was excellent. Highly recommend.

Beautiful custom built wine rack

We purchased a custom built wine rack, rustic hardwood finish and pre-assembled. we had it made to fit into one of our cupboards. It was so easy to customise it and the service was fantastic. We ordered it online and accessed all the information with dimensions etc online, it has all been set out so customer/user friendly that it is easy to do. The wine rack arrived within the time they had promised, and it did not disappoint. We love it and are so pleased with it. We highly recommend KingsBottle!

Good but could be better

I found this to be a very well made if somewhat tricky unit to assemble (partly due to needing to trim slightly to fit my location).
The only complaint I have with the unit is the unfinished ends for the timber rails the bottles sit on.
Where the finish on the sides was perfect the visible end of the wood was unfinished timber and would be a much better result if these were also stained to match the sides of the timber.

Looks much better than my three 3x3 ikea wine racks

I was needing to replace three 3x3 ikea wine racks, as I could only fit 6 in each rack (18 total) because of the small space they were in. The KingsBottle range meant that I could get a 2x10 and can now fit 30 wines (including bulky wines that can on top).

It turns out I could probably have fit a custom-made 2x12 rack. KingsBottle offer custom range wine racks too. Delivery was easy as well.

Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that our custom built wine rack was able to accommodate your needs and fit more wines than your previous IKEA racks. We also offer custom range wine racks for those with specific sizing requirements. Our goal is to make wine storage convenient and easy for our customers. We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy your new wine rack. Cheers!

I took the challenge

How hard could it be to put together I said to myself? The answer was not too hard but awkward when you don't have the space. Up and filled in a couple of hours.

A great cellar solution

The wine racks are a good product; I connect 4 together for side walls (2 side-by-side & above), anchored into wall and framed with black timber all round to finish. The cubes however are a little disappointing but i managed to make a feature using 9 cubes (4 x "X" + 4 x rack + one 2-shelf display) and once again, framed in timber (kickboard, sides, across the top). All in all, i am happy with the result with thanks for the support and guidance of the team at KingsBottle.

KingsBottle - Wine Racks

I've now installed the Kingsbottle Wine Racks acquired some time ago. It is a large wall format, of two walls, each with 4x "10x11" combinations, with joiners both vertically and horizontally. It was largely assembled in 2 stages - assembling the 8x "10x11"s, then a bit of a wait as I needed the cool room / wine cellar work done before they could actually be joined up in situ.

It's come together very well. The installed wine racks have a max capacity of 1008 bottles (2x 504 btls).

Imagery shows the right-hand-wall with bottles, and the left-hand-wall just installed.

There were two learning curves to note: Firstly, (mandatory for all) the assembly of the 8x combinations improved quite dramatically between the first & the eighth combo. Use YouTube and the supplied links to review and learn from. Secondly, fixing them to the walls - depending on the arrangement, there is increasing difficulty awaiting some first-timers like myself. Think of and plan for the sequencing of the assembly, and any drilling needs careful planning and measuring accuracy for it to work out well for you.

Highly recommended.
